MULTI.engineering is currently looking for
Structural Engineer Offshore Equipment
to join the team of our client in the area of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This concerns a temporary project for a period of minimum
six months
(extension possible).

Tasks & responsibilities

  • You perform FEM/ FEA models and calculations for offshore equipment;
  • You optimize designs focusing on material usage, weight, durability, and maintenance;
  • You will collaborate in the design of equipment for offshore purposes like cranes, offshore grippers, j-lay systems, etc.

Profile

Technical knowledge and soft skills

  • You have a master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering or relevant;
  • You have experience with structural analysis of offshore equipment or constructions;
  • You are experienced in

Ansys Workbench

(required);
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).

During the lifecycle of a military ship, it is vital that all installations and systems are continuously up-and-running. It is important to prevent break-downs or temporary inactivity. This is why we are looking for a ILS Engineer (EU Citizenship) who can help to reduce these risks. What do we offer you as a ILS-Engineer? These preventive maintenance plans will ensure the efficiency of the military ships during the whole life-cycle; You'll learn how to analyze maritime risks ( RAM and FMECA calculations) to help avoid breakdowns during military operations, contributing to mission success; You will work with our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that every part, spare and tool is in the right place at the right time. MULTI.engineering is currently looking for an Outfitting Designer Offshore Equipment to join the team of our client in the area of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This concerns a temporary project for a period of minimum six months (extension possible). Tasks & responsibilities You will be responsible for the design and development of secondary steel drawings (stairs, platforms, railings); You route the design of cable trays, connections and other essential components; You will collaborate in the design of equipment for offshore purposes like cranes, offshore grippers, j-lay systems, etc.
