Business Law Internship Paralegal at Corporate Intellectual Property

In our Corporate Intellectual Property department at the global headquarters in Veldhoven, we have an amazing internship opportunity.Your assignmentAs part of this internship, you will support the counsels in the Intellectual Property Ownership & Licensing team (O&L) of ASML’s Corporate Intellectual Property department (CIP). You will become a part of our team, joining our meetings and collaborating closely with us. Our legal experts will mentor you, providing opportunities to learn, improve and develop your skills in a supportive work environment.Some of your tasks will include:Manage and maintain the contract administration (e.g., obtain and archive signed contracts, retrieve contracts for counsel(s) or patent attorney(s), etc.);Assist the O&L team in the contract intake and approval process (incl. operation of the software tooling, interaction with internal/external stakeholders, etc.);Generate periodical contract overviews (e.g. closed/pending contracts, contract-related invention disclosures, contract-related payment obligations, etc.);Support the O&L team with various substantive and procedural legal activities (e.g. prepare IPR transfer contracts, using approved forms);Signal and identify possibilities for process optimization and take part in the implementation.Your profileTo be a match for this internship, you:Are busy with your bachelor's or master's in Law;Are a team player with a positive and proactive mindset;Are well-organized, detail- and process-oriented;Are open to providing and receiving feedback;Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).This is an apprentice/ graduation internship for 4-5 days a week (onsite) with a duration of 6 months.
