Position

As Legal Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in Medline’s success. This is more than a legal job – it’s an opportunity to influence, innovate, and shape the company’s future in a fast-paced, international environment. Medline’s legal team is set to grow substantially, offering you the chance to leave your mark and develop alongside it.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial contracts that drive the business forward.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to cross-functional teams, becoming a trusted partner in decision-making processes.
• Collaborate closely with the General Counsel EMEA to develop templates, processes, and identify and implement efficiencies across the organization.
• Willingness to become an expert in ESG, compliance, and other emerging areas essential to Medline’s growth and sustainability goals.

Expertise in contract negotiation and drafting; you thrive in commercial environments.

Profile

Medline is looking for:

• A Law degree (EU jurisdiction) and 3-8 years of experience in international business.
• Expertise in contract negotiation and drafting; you thrive in commercial environments.
• Excellent proficiency in English; fluency in German or Spanish is a big plus.
• Strong communication skills and commercial acumen, enabling you to deliver practical solutions and make confident, risk-based decisions.
• A proactive, team-player attitude—you’re curious, adaptable, and eager to grow into emerging legal domains like ESG, compliance, and marketing claims.
• A flexible mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
