Ecommerce Merchandiser Amazon (German speaking)
About the roleThe e-commerce team is looking for an Amazon Merchandiser. This position will work with one of our global clients as well as provide consultancy within e-commerce to others. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day merchandising management for our client's Amazon channel and will focus on site productivity, sales growth, and conversion. A primary focus of this role is the optimisation of the online product merchandising strategy to ensure that the right product is in the right place and at the right time. We’re looking for a self-starter who is comfortable with taking on different tasks and solving problems.Responsibilities: Effectively merchandise products within the product category in an effort to influence conversion rate and sales, while balancing with marketing initiatives and brand focus. Utilise all available data points, which include consumer demand, product inventory, product margin, shipping rates, etc. in an effort to drive profitability on Amazon. Knowledge of upselling, cross-selling, catalog structure management, and creation of product-specific landing pages.Creation and maintenance of product listings through listing creation tools.Compile conversion optimised product copies Submission and monitoring of promotional and product campaigns through all sales channels.Knowledge of how to drive sales through top search results, cross selling and up selling opportunityAudits and Quality Checks: Regular audits to maintain compliance and integrity of the product catalogueOptimisation: Optimise content for product, category, and brand, A+ pages following SEO best practices with seasonal updatesLocalisation: Ensure that German product copy is accurately localised and fit for purpose.
