We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Engineer Electrical Systems: Focus on air insulated HVAC Switchgear and HVDC Converters at our location Arnhem who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT

As a (Dutch speaking and writing colleague) you will support our 2GW HVDC grid expansion program with your technical expertise. In different regions in the Netherlands multiple 2GW grid connection systems will be built, together with our consortia.

Your main tasks are:

• the coordination (overview, reviewing) of all technical topics of primary technology (focus: air-insulated AC switchgear and HVDC converters) within offshore grid connection projects. From project start to handover to operation
• to provide technical support in contract negotiations, basic design and detailed design as well as the execution of factory and on-site acceptance tests and commissioning
• coordination of the technical interfaces to other technical disciplines
• the implementation and quality control during the construction and installation phase in accordance with the applicable framework conditions and guidelines (including standards, specifications, etc.)
• supporting the project managers responsible for construction in managing the subcontractors with regard to technical issues and organization
• checking the technical documentation and comparing it with the underlying specifications

With your extensive technical knowledge and experience, you make an active contribution to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors.

Jouw profiel en achtergrond

• Good verbal and written communication skills

in Dutch and English!

• Good interpersonal and team skills
• You have a high degree of independence, initiative, and assertiveness.
• Occupational medical suitability for offshore assignments according to the AWMF standard
• Confident handling of MS Office, a high degree of mobility and willingness to travel as well as a class B driver's license round off your profile
