We are looking for a new colleague in an
Industrial Automation Engineer
role for project-based technical content optimization of the production and logistics processes in the field of industrial automation.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
- Keeping up to date with new developments within the field and researching to what extent these can be applied to improve certain processes;
- Support the Electrical Technical Services department in case of complex disruptions;
- Eliminate underlying causes in case of prolonged stoppages;
- Make proposals to improve the automation of various processes;
- Draw up project plans;
- Discussing the required specifications and adjustments with suppliers through a drafted program of requirements, product specifications and process documentation;
- Selecting supplier based on technical performance;
- Monitoring time schedules, information, quality, execution (including preparation of instruction manuals, CE standardization, maintenance requirements) and administrative recording of the projects;
- Monitoring legal requirements and procedures (CE, occupational health and safety, work equipment guidelines);
- Prepare and manage technical projects.
WHO ARE YOU:
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical or industrial automation engineering;
- Experience in the same workfield and/or in an international environment is an advantage;
- Strong and effective oral and written communications and problem solving skills;
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels and to work with peers in a variety of functions;
- Analytical skills and conceptual thinking, information gathering;
- Fluent in English
