Sr. LCM Design Engineer Automation

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and experienced design engineer automation to join our team in Oss, a leading women’s health company. In this role, you will be part of automation projects in Oss and help to design, engineer and bring them to a successful completion. This will be your job

As a Senior Design Engineer Automation, you will play a crucial role within Lifecycle Management (LCM) projects driven by defined lifecycle actions. These projects are part of the Business Technology department, which focuses on automation support for our production processes. Based at our production site in Oss, you will work alongside with global IT support teams and vendors when needed. You will help engineer and design technical solutions to fit our projects needs as well as helping programming, upgrading and testing the system before release, in some projects in close cooperation with vendors

 

Your responsibilities

• Design and engineer the best technical solution to achieve the projects’ goal
• Programming, upgrading and replacing systems
• Requirement analysis and risk assessment
• Executing and documenting tests on upgraded/replaced systems (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ)
• Creating and updating technical system documentation
• Support the project manager in scoping new projects
• Recognizing and solving technical challenges
• Reporting progress and deviations to the project manager
• Working successful with vendors to upgrade the vendor delivered systems (i.e Packaging Equipment)

 
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary organization, and you will be a part of a project team consisting of a Project Manager, Computerized Systems Validation Engineer, Automation Engineer, Quality Officer and production representatives. As a senior design automation engineer you will directly help successfully complete the projects driven by lifecycle management.

 

Who are you?

• Proactive and result oriented team player
• 7+ years’ experience in Automation projects
• Excellent skills in PLC and DCS (i.e Siemens, B&R) and SCADA (iFix)
• Skilled in equipment engineering and commissioning
• Familiar with Networks, Windows AD, etc.
• Experience in Life Science / Pharma and GAMP guidelines
• Fluently in English and Dutch

 

Project examples

• Investigating current configuration and interfaced of a Management System, coordination of multiple suppliers, configuration of PC’s, coordination and execution of FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ
• Coordination of a HMI and Safety PLC upgrade together with multiple suppliers, upgrade of PC’s, coordination and execution of FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ
