We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Facilities Management to join in Schiphol, RiijkThe Senior Manager FM is responsible for compiling and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the effective site management at NL to include vendors, managing all FM services, senior stakeholder management and team management Also, for providing advice, guidance and oversight across Liberty Global’s Operating companies footprint under the Global Facilities envelope.Continuously assess and adapt to changing priorities.Self-drive and pride in work fuels you to deliver at a high and effective rate, managing change.Accountable for overseeing local site strategy that encompasses all elements of FM and vendorsContributing to the positive image and success of Liberty Global, and to plan effectively for services that ensure effective operation of NL Schipol officesSee opportunities to break the mould and improve processes always be proactive with a mindset that enthuses other members of the team to see the opportunities.Furthermore, the senior manager acts as a subject matter expert on all areas on service provision and ensures budget adheranceValue candid feedback and provide it regularly and timely, while being honest and specific and always encourage the wider team to do the same.Embrace individual differences, ensuring equal opportunities for contribution and that no one in the team feels left behind.Ensure connection and communication with your direct reports the wider team, key stakeholders and employees is clear and straight up.Accountable for budgetary control.Main Responsibilities:Manage the FM services and third party contractors and SLAs around same.Ensure adherence to all local mandatory regulations and legislation.Provide strategic input and guidance and advice to senior managementAuthor and drive service levels metrics and targets with key local stakeholdersManage procurement, vendors, and contracts with external partners in conjunction with Liberty Global’s procurement department and in specific the Procurement of Security contracts for Central to assure high quality and cost-effective services. Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions, as well as documenting and agreeing on any changes or amendments that may arise during its implementation or execution.Be a centre of excellence for ESG/FM Services for Liberty Global’s central offices excellence with operational companies within the Liberty family.Focus on maintaining excellent services to serve Liberty Global’s goals and operations and to promote Liberty Global as an employer of choice in the competitive high-tech industry environment.Proactively manage third party contract renewals and associated services and ensure performance and metrics governed throughoutAlign with broad NL FM function to include Security/H&SManage core team and ensure output defined and aligned with StrategyBuild and foster relationships with senior leaders at NL site and other employees alike, as well as with vendors and other external parties by establishing and maintaining excellent cross organizational partnerships to resolve issues as needed and to optimize spend.Actively participate in and engage with the global Property/Facilities management function and drive and support Liberty Global cross-functional initiatives where applicable. Develop and manage the operating and capital expense budgets and manage the services contracts for the corporate security & safety operations.Work closely with FM Director in UK to set and deliver priorities and be the eyes and ears for all FM related issues on-sitePro-actively liaise and maintain professional relationships with external partiesEnsure towards Director global Facilities an effective reporting line through open and timely communication as well as through direct contact.Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices to ensure direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve results.Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Educated to bachelor’s degree-level or extensive demonstrable field experience in a corporate security role.Appropriate (international) certifications in Facilities ManagementExtensive relevant experience in managing FM services across multiple sites(ideally a tech/telecom environment)Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to understand and summarize complex information.Able to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels within Liberty Global, varying style and content as necessary.Strong organizational skills and capable of managing and achieving multiple deadlines.Strong analytical skills supported by critical thinking and an ability to identify the root cause of a problem.An inquisitive mind with an innovative yet pragmatic approach to problem solving.Effective working within a team or as an individual.
