LOCATION: ROTTERDAM REGION, THE NETHERLANDS
DURATION: CONTRACT
SALARY: MARKET RELATED

“Our International Client is looking for a Dutch speaking Material and Corrosion Engineer responsible for identifying innovative methods to carry out assigned tasks ensuring all required material is functional and accounted for within a design and in compliance with International codes, Company specifications, and Industry standards and Regulations to be based in ROTTERDAM REGION, THE NETHERLANDS.”

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• May be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package.
• The Material & Corrosion Engineer must prioritize assigned activities to deliver a safe, efficient design and meet construction and installation milestones.
• Understand, plan and deliver assigned tasks with accuracy within agreed time frame.
• Identify areas requiring more detailed instructions and clarify understanding/expectation as necessary with Discipline Lead; ensure no surprises.
• Develop engineering documents in a manner that the design intent can be interpreted correctly.
• Complete tasks in compliance with applicable engineering codes, industry standards/regulations and work procedures
• Perform thorough self-check of all deliverables prior to submission for review /approval.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical University Degree or Higher Educational Level in Material & Corrosion engineering experience.
• Minimum Five (5) years of relevant Material and Corrosion engineering experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing is required and good knowledge of Dutch is a requirement.
