Our client, a leading global consumer goods group, is seeking a highly skilled senior IT audit manager to join their team in Amsterdam. In this key leadership role, you will oversee a comprehensive audit, compliance, and controls function, focusing on collaboration and partnership across the business.

IT Audit Senior Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 3-4 direct reports, enhancing business processes and functionality within the department and the SAP/Hana operating system.
  • IT Audit Management: Lead the planning and execution of IT audit activities, focusing on SAP, IT General Controls (ITGC), security, and application controls.
  • System Implementation: Oversee the ITGC reporting process, system implementation planning, and protocol development.
  • SAP Hana Integration: Spearhead the integration of SAP Hana into all aspects of the internal audit methodology.
  • Training and Development: Lead, train, and mentor your team to deliver high-quality audit activities, generate comprehensive audit reports and create test results using designated audit software.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP, S/4 Hana, IT General Controls, application controls, SOX, user functionality, and IT risk management.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leadership and management, including training and developing staff and mentoring.
  • SAP Hana Enthusiast: A keen interest in leveraging SAP Hana to enhance business performance and controls.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in MS Office; experience with SAP business processes, data analytics, and visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) is a strong plus.
