Wat kun je verwachten?

As an Infra Test Engineer, you will work in a multidisciplinary and self-managing Agile/Scrum team. In addition to the development of software products, our teams are integrally responsible for a multitude of aspects such as requirements analysis, design, architecture, testing, validation and regular product demonstrations.

We highly value the application of high-tech techniques and methods. Software development is based on Java and supported by a modern development environment.

About you:

Do you have a passion for technology and would you like to work on high-tech Naval Command & Control systems? Then you are the person we are looking for.

You are a talented and experienced Infra Test Engineer and enjoy working on the design, development and testing of complex Java software solutions. You have a graduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

With your analytical attitude you know how to detect errors and together with the development teams you analyze these problems. As a person you are creative, open and flexible and you can operate as a team player. In addition, you are result-oriented, show initiative and communicate clearly.

• A good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing is necessary for a good job performance.
• You are a talented Software Test Engineer with extensive experience and a passion for testing complex software.
• You have a background in test engineering and automation with Java including associated development methods, tooling and frameworks.
• You have knowledge and experience with Linux, networking, Python, JAVA.
• You are able to quickly master new domains and techniques.
• You stand out as an enthusiastic team player: open communication, collaboration-oriented and you feel responsible for the team’s outcome.
• You are ISTQB certified.
• Having an ISTQB Security certification is an advantage.
• You have knowledge and experience with test-automation with Java and test methodologies such as Functional-Testing, Exploratory-Testing, Test-Automation and Unit-Testing.
• Knowledge and experience with the following tools and techniques is a strong plus: Jenkins, Nexus, Maven/Gradle, GIT/SVN and CI/CD.

Bij onze opdrachtgever voer je het eerste gesprek op locatie of online. Dit gesprek draait om het leren kennen van de organisatie, het team en de specifieke eisen van de functie. Een mooie kans om jezelf te presenteren en meer te ontdekken over jouw potentiële nieuwe werkplek.

Tweede gesprek
In het tweede gesprek bij de opdrachtgever gaan jullie dieper in op de inhoud van de functie, jouw rol in het team en wederzijdse verwachtingen. Dit gesprek kan ook gebruikt worden om praktische zaken, zoals arbeidsvoorwaarden of een mogelijke startdatum, te bespreken. Soms maak je ook kennis met meer teamleden of leidinggevenden om een compleet beeld te krijgen.

Aanbod
Als alle gesprekken positief zijn verlopen, ontvang je een aanbod van de opdrachtgever. Hierin worden de arbeidsvoorwaarden, salaris en overige afspraken vastgelegd. Uiteraard staan wij klaar om je te adviseren en eventuele vragen te beantwoorden, zodat je met een goed gevoel de volgende stap kunt zetten in je loopbaan.
