Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description
Aircrete Europe is looking for a motivated and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with good
knowledge of machine construction. The vacancy concerns a dynamic position within the engineering
department of Aircrete Europe with active involvement in often intensive and multidisciplinary
international projects. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you are responsible for the design of mechanical
constructions / machines for AAC factories. You are involved from specification to integration and
substantiate your designs with analyzes and calculations. In addition, you work within a project team,
actively communicating with customers, suppliers, and other engineers.
The main activities of the function are focused on:
- Working out, developing and constructing / 3D drawing of new Aircrete innovations and systems. • Modernizing and innovating existing production systems. • Design and calculation of electrical / hydraulic and pneumatic drives. • Supporting technical installation and commissioning at home and abroad. • Active role in engineering project management. • Active role in planning and execution of FATs at suppliers. • Managing multidisciplinary teams during engineering, assembly, and commissioning. • Communication with project teams of suppliers and customers. • Close cooperation with Aircrete Process Technicians, Mechanical and Electrical Specialists,
Job requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering • At least 2-5 Years relevant Work Experience • Communicative skillful, flexible, pragmatic, creative and initiative. • Experience and knowledge of 3D drawing packages (preferably SolidWorks). • Knowledge of electrical drives. • Good mechanical and electrical component knowledge. • Due to the international project environment, a flexible and driven institution is required (no 9-5
- Knowledge of pneumatics & hydraulics has a preference. • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
