What are your job activities?

As an Electrical Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and installations within a leading chemical production company. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the installations, while adhering to relevant standards and guidelines.

Your responsibilities include:

• Installing and connecting electrical systems, wiring, and control panels in an industrial environment;
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on complex electrical systems;
• Diagnosing and resolving issues with machines, installations, and equipment;
• Testing and inspecting installations according to NEN 3140 standards and other quality requirements;
• Ensuring a safe work environment by strictly following VCA safety guidelines;
• Documenting maintenance activities and reporting to technical management;
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team to address technical challenges.

What we require

• MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical qualification;
• An advantage if you hold NEN 3140 and VCA certifications. Don’t have them yet? We’ll be happy to help you obtain them;
• At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Mechanic in an industrial environment, preferably in the chemical sector;
• Good knowledge of electrical diagrams, measurement, and testing equipment;
• Familiarity with ATEX environments and other specific safety standards (a plus);
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Willingness to work in shifts or on an on-call basis.
