Job Description

Our client is an international contract research organization with an extensive portfolio of services to promote healthier lives. For one of their sites in Ireland, they are looking for an analytical development manager to oversee, coordinate, and implement multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of ~12 project leaders to promote the improvement of their technical expertise and project management skills.
Oversee the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods and programs for multiple clients using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, IC, GC, AAS, etc.

Manage multiple projects at various stages while maintaining a high-quality standard for the team's work (GMP conditions and strict SOPs).
Support the raise of deviations and laboratory investigations as well as lead internal and external audits.
Participate in the research and development of new analytical methodologies as well as method transfer.
Provide technical support to the Analytical Services Department

Requirements

A PhD in a relevant science discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biotechnology).
Strong background in analytical method development and validation of analytical techniques (e.g HPLC, SEC, GC, IR, etc).
Demonstrable experience supervising/managing staff.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a GMP regulated environment.
Experience in leading and/or participating in method transfer in a regulatory environment.
A problem-solving mentality.
Excellent communication and organizational skills in English.

Benefits

Permanent contract.
Salary of €60,000-80,000 per year.
