ITD Europe is responsible for the development, implementation, support and management of the information systems for users in Europe; for DAF, PACCAR Parts as well as PACCAR Financial and PACLease. More than 200 employees work within ITD Europe. The ITD DAF Purchase and Operations department is responsible for the information systems that are implemented in the factories of DAF, Purchasing and Supplier Quality.

Function description

As an information analyst you make an inventory of the requirements and wishes from the business for adjustments to the information systems (SAP SRM, PPAP) and the underlying processes. You then translate these wishes into functional designs, in such a way that they are suitable for further implementation by the technical designers and developers.

• You analyze the current systems and processes and come up with improvement proposals for an optimal solution.
• For the information analysis you use structured methods and tools, so that a good transfer, embedding in the organization and documentation is guaranteed.
• In addition to drawing up the functional requirements, you are also responsible for drawing up test scenarios and possibly testing the solutions built by the team.
• As SAP SRM is a global PACCAR system, you work together with the global SAP SRM in Renton US.

You report to the project manager or directly to the information manager.

Function Requirements

For this challenging position, we would like to get in touch with candidates with a completed academic education with a (technical) business administration or IT focus.

• Knowledge of purchasing systems / applications is a plus, especially SAP SRM and SAP Ariba.
• You are highly analytical and are able to translate business questions into optimal system solutions.
• You have experience in information analysis, functional design and testing. Knowledge and experience with UML is an advantage.
• You can work independently as well as in a (project) team context. You have good communication skills, results and customer focus, you are familiar with the IT development process and you have a good knowledge of IT developments within the field.
• You are flexible and able to solve problems with refreshing ideas.
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
