Functieomschrijving

The person we are looking for will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and business development activities across various international markets. You will manage a team of six Sales Managers and one Customer Service Representative, ensuring alignment and effectiveness in executing commercial strategies.

You will develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand the company’s presence and drive revenue growth while actively identifying and building relationships with distributors, key accounts, and decision-makers. Monitoring market trends and analyzing data will be essential to anticipate industry developments and adapt strategies accordingly.

A key part of this role involves managing distributor networks, providing support to enhance their effectiveness, and ensuring long-term partnerships that drive business success. You will regularly evaluate distributor performance, address challenges, and implement solutions while also ensuring that customer needs are met. Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management will be crucial, along with ensuring compliance with trade regulations, credit policies, and financial strategies. Additionally, you will provide reports and insights that guide strategic decision-making, collaborating closely with sales managers, marketing, and R&D teams to align business growth with market demands.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to analyze trends, sales data, and customer insights for strategic planning.
  • Skilled at managing distributor networks and fostering key partnerships.
  • Able to work effectively across Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Fluent English required (additional languages are a plus).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel (30-40%)
