To satisfy our customers’ ‘one stop shop’ requirement, PPE sells DAF and PACCAR branded parts for DAF truck applications and TRP branded parts for other truck makes, semi-trailers and workshop items. PPE has employees in all major European markets and PACCAR Distributions Centers (PDC) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest and Moscow.

Function description

As Inventory Planning Manager you effectively lead a team of 5-8 Inventory Planning specialists to optimize parts availability, supplier performance and manage stock levels. Your team manages the material flow for 200+ suppliers with a combined annual spend >€200 million. You collaborate closely with Operations, Purchasing, Marketing and Sales to improve parts availability, increase customer satisfaction and grow market share.

Here are some of your challenging tasks:
  • You monitor and coordinate tasks and responsibilities in your team
  • You are able to challenge and motivate your team on individual and team level
  • With your team you manage the parts supply from global suppliers to our PDC’s and are responsible for parts availability to the DAF dealer network
  • You actively support your team in escalations with suppliers to resolve supply issues
  • You manage the parts supply for global DAF / MX engine service campaigns
  • You have a leading role in improving supplier lead time and on-time shipment
  • Together with other departments you work on logistic improvement projects

Function Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor or Master in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline
  • You have a good understanding of Supply Chain Managenent and Logistic processes and systems
  • You have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, pré in a Spare Parts environment
  • You are result driven, able to work under pressure, cooperative and a good communicator
  • An excellent knowledge of MS Office and the English and Dutch language are requirements for this position
