Eekels | TBI is looking for a Chief Electrician for Marine & Offshore at the Kolham location. 
The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems for Marine & Offshore applications worldwide. Complete installations are designed in line with the customer’s requirements and produced for installations at Dutch shipyards. Complete installations are also sent as ready-made construction kits to the shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China and various other countries. The electrical services provided to the ship construction industry consist of: consultancy, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific systems and/or standard systems, panel construction, installation work, commissioning and service and maintenance.

You work on project locations, independently or in a team, on assembling and converting various electrical installations and instrumentation for projects within the industry;

What can you expect from us?

What is expected of you?

Preparing for the execution of work, making detailed plans and drawings and making changes and adjustments to existing documentation;
Installation of electrical systems on ships;
Possibly troubleshooting for repairs, performing maintenance tasks, and keeping records of overhaul work;
Preparing commissioning and having tests carried out;
Testing the work performed against the assignment and planning;
Instructing and supervising employees;
Perform various administrative and registering tasks;
Establishing and maintaining customer relationships (shipyard/shipowner) and maintaining contacts with any subcontractors;
Ensuring a safe working environment.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

Completed vocational education (MBO) in electrical engineering at level 4;
Experience in a leadership role, preferably within the maritime sector;
You are proactive, have strong communication skills and you have a customer-oriented attitude;
Good knowledge of Word and Excel;
Willingness to travel
A good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
