Job Description:
Next Ventures are currently executing search for a highly skilled and experienced
SAP AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration) Consultant
with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the
medical, healthcare, or hygiene industries
. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP Variant Configuration solutions that meet the complex needs of these industries. The consultant will leverage SAP’s powerful AVC capabilities to streamline product customization processes, improve supply chain efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP AVC Configuration and Implementation:
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) solutions, ensuring that the configuration of product variants aligns with industry-specific requirements.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, technical, and operations) to gather and analyze detailed business requirements for product variants, ensuring accurate configurations for medical devices, healthcare services, or hygiene products.

Integration Expertise:
Integrate AVC solutions with other SAP modules such as SAP MM, SD, PP, and SAP EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety), ensuring a seamless flow of information across systems.

Industry-Specific Customization:
Tailor the AVC solution to address the unique needs of the medical, healthcare, and hygiene industries, such as regulatory compliance, patient-centric configurations, or customizable hygiene product variants.

Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure that all product configurations adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations, such as FDA, CE, HIPAA, and sustainability regulations in the hygiene sector.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Provide regular reporting and data analysis to monitor the success and efficiency of implemented configurations, including KPIs, product variant trends, and supply chain insights.

Training and Support:
Deliver training to internal teams on how to use SAP AVC solutions effectively. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues with variant configurations.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP advancements, industry trends, and best practices. Proactively suggest improvements to existing configurations and business processes to optimize efficiency and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an SAP Consultant with a focus on Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC), particularly in medical, healthcare, or hygiene-related industries.

Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, product lifecycles, and business processes specific to the
medical, healthcare, or hygiene industries.
Experience with FDA, CE marking, HIPAA, and sustainability regulations is highly desirable.

SAP Skills:
Strong expertise in
SAP Variant Configuration (VC)
,
AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration)
,
SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
,
SAP MM (Materials Management)
,
SAP PP (Production Planning)
, and
SAP EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety)
.
Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
is a plus.

Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective configuration solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Integration Skills:

Experience with integrating SAP AVC with other SAP modules such as:
SAP MM (Materials Management)
SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP QM (Quality Management)
SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA interfaces
for end-user interactions.

Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Medical/Healthcare
: Familiarity with regulatory standards such as
FDA (Food and Drug Administration)
,
CE marking
, and
HIPAA
(Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
Hygiene
: Knowledge of
sustainability regulations
and
eco-friendly certifications
, as well as any local hygiene-related certifications or industry standard

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications:
SAP certifications related to Variant Configuration (VC/AVC) or relevant SAP modules.

Experience with Industry-Specific Tools:
Knowledge of SAP IS-H (Industry Solutions for Healthcare), SAP Health, or any other healthcare-specific SAP module is a strong advantage.

Change Management:
Experience in leading change management efforts, including training and supporting end users through new system implementations.
In addition to technical skills in SAP AVC, a SAP consultant in these industries should also have knowledge of the specific regulations, supply chains, and product lifecycle complexities inherent to healthcare and hygiene products.
