We are looking for a Document Controller to support the projects of our offshore Oil&Gas client. After a period of secondment it is the intention to transfer the position to staff.

The Job:

• Maintains a controlled document retrieval system containing company's, sub-contractor and supplier documents.
• Prepares transmittals for documents and returns reviewed documents.
• Ensures adequate and timely registration, receipt and distribution of company's, sub-contractor and supplier documents.
• Reports and advises the Project Engineer and Project Manager on a regular basis about document progress within the project.
• Checks original documents against Project- & corporate requirements and/or standards.
• Attends project kick off meetings and progress meetings.
• Checks incoming supplier documents on completeness.
• Sets up, maintains and expedites internal IDC in conjunction with the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
• Prepares/compiles the final documentation in conjunction with engineering if

required.

• Keeps knowledge and procedures up-to-date on all relevant aspects and shares this within the department.
• Reports regularly to the Dept Head Document Control on personal achievements and department matters.
• Support the colleague Document Controllers within projects and day-to-day-work.
• Uses and maintains corporate standards. Develops and proposes improvements.

Requested:

• Technical College: Administrative Secondary Education.
• At least 3 years in Document Control/Document Handling in the Oil&Gas industry (oil&gas, projects).
• English good, verbally as well as in writing. Dutch is a bonus.
• Computer literacy for document control systems (sharepoint).
• Fulltime availability on short notice for office work in the Amsterdam region.
• Already living in working in the Netherlands (EU passport holder).
