Solution Architect

Do you enjoy designing fully customised solutions and would you like to work on challenging projects in the centre of Amsterdam? Do you have experience using modern techniques and are you ready for a new adventure? Then you might be the new colleague we are looking for.

Your role and responsibilities
At DTT, you will work with a young and talented product team to achieve high-level solutions, ranging from start-up concepts or mission-critical solutions to fully featured social media platforms and PaaS solutions.

As a solution architect at DTT, you will collaborate on the full application lifecycle of our projects. Starting from our preliminary phase, in which we design the concept visually and technically with the intended objectives as a guideline. Then, together with the team, you take care of the realisation of the solution you came up with and there is room for you to contribute to the actual implementation. As an afterthought, you will conduct research into the extent to which the intended architecture has actually been applied and take this into account for the next solution for learning purposes.

In this role, you will be in regular contact with developers from different disciplines in order to achieve a feasible and qualitative result together.

What are we looking for?

• You have strong communication skills in English and Dutch (both oral and written).
• You have at least 2 years of professional work experience as a solution architect.
• A strong background in software architecture, experience with Laravel, LAMP and JAM stack is a plus.
• You have knowledge of the entire development process (from design to development, implementation and after-care).
• You have global knowledge of 'security by design', mobile, front-end and back-end development, so that you can include this in the overall architecture.
• You are able to proactively escalate problems that could have an impact on scope, planning or budget.
• You are a team player with the motivation to improve our solutions.
• You have a BSc degree in Computer Science or another relevant field.
