But how? What’s there for me to do?
In this role, you ensure products are reliable and meet standards. You’ll be testing a range of products like EV charging stations, 3D printers, and lab equipment. These products are getting more advanced, with complex electronics, software, and wireless features, making your work always interesting.Your main task is to check the safety of these technologies. You’ll handle multiple projects at once, spending about one-third of your time in the company’s modern lab and the rest on-site at client locations. A lot of your time will be spent doing hands-on testing, with the rest focused on analyzing the results and writing up reports for clients. You’ll also carry out safety assessments based on international standards or risk evaluations. Throughout your work, you’ll keep the project manager and clients updated on how things are going. Plus, you’ll be working with different teams within the company to make sure everything stays on track.
Cool. What are the requirements?
You’ve got a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, giving you solid knowledge of electrical systems and technology. You’re skilled at measuring electrical equipment, and you always want to ensure that products are tested to meet the highest standards. Your expertise in safety assessments and international standards like IEC 62368, IEC 60950, IEC 61010, and IEC 60601 means you know how to keep things compliant, no matter how complex the tech gets.In this role, you’ll get your hands on all sorts of innovative products such as EV charging stations, 3D printers, and lab equipment, helping the company ensure these products are as sound and reliable as they can be. You’ll engage in hands-on testing, perform risk-based assessments, and collaborate with project teams to ensure everything meets the required standards.
When it comes to language skills, you’ve got it covered. You’re fluent in English, allowing you to communicate with clients and teams. Knowledge of German is considered a plus, enabling you to engage in a broader range of international projects.
