Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role within the DevOps team. In this position, your responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automation processes using tools like Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
- Supporting and enhancing the migration to Azure Cloud solutions to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Developing new products and services to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
- Automating repetitive tasks, allowing your team to focus on innovation and optimization.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure seamless integrations and efficient solutions.
- Focusing on performance optimization and streamlining processes to enhance overall efficiency.
About Our Client:
Our client is a leading organisation in the financial sector, based in Utrecht. They provide critical IT services that ensure the continuity and security of their business processes. With a strong focus on innovation and leveraging modern technologies like Azure Cloud, they support both the Dutch Retail and Global Wholesale markets.Your Profile:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who meets the following criteria:- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on automation and cloud solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server suite (including SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS).
- Proven experience with Azure Cloud and Windows Server environments.
- Strong skills in PowerShell, scripting, and automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Visual Studio Code.
- Familiarity with Always On Availability Groups and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
