Job Description At the location of ADM Europoort , such as flour and oil for the food and animal feed industry. More than 325 people work at ADM Europoort in the bulk terminal, crush & extraction factory, refinery and soy protein concentrate (SPC) factory. These departments are supported by our own chemical and microbiological laboratory, maintenance & reliability department and the SHEQ department. Because we have a matrix structure in which we work with Centers of Excellence and Performance Excellence, we can acquire, retain and, above all, use knowledge in every area and level.Logistic Medewerker B The roleAn opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Officer (Logistic Medewerker B) role in Europoort, the Netherlands. The ADM Europoort Oil logistics department focuses on logistics flows of vegetable oil and biodiesel products sold by the trading department. The Logistics Officer takes care of the complete coordination and settlement of in- and outbound flows (logistics planning, documents / transport / complaints). The Logistics Officer is involved in contracts, quality, delivery requirements and transportation documents for both ADM Europoort-Rotterdam and other ADM locations. This vacancy is for the Execution/Logistics Oils team. The main responsibilities of the role are:Daily updating of stock, inputs and outputs, projected production in Excel spreadsheets or internal applicationsContract knowledge of purchase, sale and freight contractsChecking the order on contract conditions, already settled quantities and stock positionsCreate, make and present shipping documents to counterparts; checking documents from third party suppliersFollow-up on payments, demurrage or other issues and escalating when requiredCreating nominations to the counterpart/ships agents/surveyor/lab/storage facilityManage the commodity position for vegetable oils, both paper (strings, tenders, circles) and physical (deliveries as per Incoterms)Maintain contact with the counterparts, service providersMaintain contact with the plant/refineryCreate daily instruction email for plant/refineryEnsure correct settlement with counterpartsThis role may require participation in an on-call duty.
