Back-end development internship

Are you enthusiastic to learn the ins and outs when it comes to back-end development? Do you have some experience in PHP and MySQL and are you ready to start a new adventure? Then continue reading, because you might be the back-end development intern that we are looking for.

Your role and responsibilities
At DTT you will work in a young and talented product team consisting of Web, iOS, Android and Unity developers. In two-week sprints you will work on a variety of projects ranging from cool start-up concepts or business critical solutions to fully-featured social media platforms and BLE connected apps. 

As a back-end development intern at DTT you will participate in the entire application lifecycle of our projects, focusing on coding and debugging. In this process you will be taught how to write clean code, which entails that the code:

• Conforms to the PSR
• Is written according to the SOLID principles.
• Applies design patterns where applicable.

During your internship you will be supported and supervised by a senior back-end developer
and a HR-Talent manager that helps you set your development path.

What are we looking for?

• You have knowledge of PHP and MySQL. 
• You are familiar with OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
• You have good communication skills in English (verbal and writing).
• You are a team player with the drive and a natural curiosity to push solutions forward.
• You communicate proactively and will be able to escalate issues that may impact scope, schedule or budget. 
• You have at least intermediate vocational education-level of professionality and intellectual ability.
• You have a Dutch visa or you’re already based in the Netherlands.
