We?
At VIPS PMS, part of Freetime Hospitality B.V., we foster an informal atmosphere where everyone is dedicated to serving our clients every day. For over 25 years, we have been a leading provider of reservation software in the Netherlands, catering to B&Bs, hotels, and conference centers.

Our software development department currently consists of an international Scrum team, including C# .NET developers, front-end developers, testers, product owners, product managers, and a product strategist. We are looking for an experienced and motivated .NET MAUI developer to join our team in Nieuwegein.

What Will You

Do?
As a
.NET MAUI Developer
, you will be responsible for developing apps for
iOS, Android, and Windows
, as well as maintaining, improving, and scaling existing applications. Several exciting projects are at the top of our priority list.
We are continuously improving and expanding our apps. Some of our projects include automating the
check-in/check-out process
through a
kiosk application
, generating reports via a mobile app, enhancing the back-end, integrating with partners via our
open API
, and transitioning existing features into a modular
microservice
environment. High-quality code and an optimal workflow are always the foundation. Our goal is to
work and improve as a team
.
You will work within a
Scrum team
, collaborating with the
Product Team
to determine priorities. In consultation with the
Product Owner
, you will gather all necessary documentation and knowledge to execute the case or project. If needed, you will coordinate with stakeholders to collect relevant information. Once all details are available, you and your team will start working, prepare documentation, and schedule cases for the upcoming sprint.

You will work in
four-week sprints
, with planned cases being
“pokered” (high-low split)
before execution. At the end of each sprint, the team evaluates progress and outcomes together.

What Do We

We are looking for a
.NET MAUI Developer
who resides in the Netherlands and can bring knowledge and experience to
improve and expand
our applications.
We have a passion for developers who bring strong opinions and ideas. We value developers who can
manage and improve
code quality and work processes.

Additionally, you have:

• An analytical mindset;
• At least 3 years of experience solving complex software problems;
• At least 3 years of experience working with large, high-volume systems;
• At least 3 years of experience with .NET MAUI;
• Solid knowledge of SOAP, REST, and JSON;
• Familiarity with other technologies such as web servers, internet protocols, file systems, command-line management, and tools like FTP;
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, or similar programming languages;
• Knowledge of MySQL, Node.js, and/or Grunt;
• Experience with MVC (C#/.NET), Module Pattern (Angular), or other design patterns;
• Familiarity with Azure and Azure DevOps;
• Experience with cloud computing technologies and/or mobile apps;
• An affinity with hospitality/hotels.
