In our logistics world, everything revolves around well-organized workforce planning. You ensure that the right employees and temporary workers are deployed on time in our warehouses. You do this together with your team for multiple locations in the Netherlands: you're on it.

How you do this? You are the planning expert and the primary point of contact for your region. From warehouse staff to forklift drivers, you match the operational demand with the supply from our staffing agencies and internal colleagues. You achieve this by:

• gathering workforce needs from the operation and creating a plan based on skills and availability. You use our workforce management system and work closely with our staffing agencies;
• analyzing planning results and developing various scenarios to advise warehouse managers and supervisors on improvements;
• reviewing KPI reports from staffing partners and adjusting the planning as needed to address shortages;
• suggesting improvements and ideas from national meetings with other planners within DSV.

You bring

• preferably, experience in logistics, but enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are more important;
• you are proactive and love finding the right solutions;
• you pay attention to details and know how to set priorities;
• if you have experience in a similar role, that’s a plus but not essential;
• good command of both Dutch and English.
