Assistant Controller

We are looking for an Assistant Controller for our client Safran in Alkmaar. Do you have at least 2 years of relevant experience? Do you want to develop yourself further in an international and challenging environment?

Functieomschrijving

You will interact with all departments for internal control matters and processes and will perform detailed analysis of the monthly financial statements. In this position you’ll also be responsible for the monthly financial reports and month end closing. You are responsible for helping the organization reach the goals of the mission statement. This job reports directly to the Manager FSSC.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is interested in internal control matters and is looking for a wide-ranging role with broad responsibilities.

Your responsibilities mainly consist of

• Various internal control tasks;
• Various reporting tasks;
• Intensive contribution to the AR department.
• Month end closing and periodical reporting as the right hand of the Manager FSSC;
• Managing the general ledger.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor/Master degree in business administration, economics, accounting or an equivalent;
• At least 2 years of experience;
• Effective communication skills and a positive critical attitude;
• Responsible and proactive approach;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
• Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing;
• Hands-on, accurate and proactive.
