- Lead and supervise Interface- and System engineers to deliver detailed engineering solutions.
- Oversee the engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of power distribution systems, including medium- and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, power distribution units, bus bar systems, digital protection, automation and monitoring systems, and modular solutions.
- Maintain alignment between various designs and disciplines to meet functional objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Act as the technical point of contact for clients, advising them and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure project success.
- Office-based work in The Hague, with regular visits to factories and project sites, both domestic and international, for activities such as factory testing, customer meetings, and site coordination.
What do you need
- A completed HTS or TU degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in (lead) engineering roles in multidisciplinary projects.
- Practical and theoretical expertise in low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations, and standards like IEC 61439.
- Experience in preparing technical reports and test plans.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to inspire and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in making and executing engineering plans, monitoring progress, and achieving objectives.
- Team management and coaching experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and commercial acumen to handle critical customer interactions.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly for short business trips.
- Strong resilience in high-pressure environments.
