As a Supervisor, Service Engineer within this client, your area of work is all over the world. It includes commissioning, inspection and maintenance of High Voltage Switchgear and Power Transformers as well as technical advice and implementation of solutions, tailored to customer needs. (Leading) Service work on High Voltage products of Siemens Energy and site management of (sophisticated) projects. Team development of ‘new’ activities (e.g.: lifetime determination of power transformers and cable connections).- Performance and reporting of inspection, maintenance, commissioning activities.
- Performing and analysing dielectric measurements on primary and secondary High Voltage equipment
- Site management on (sophisticated) projects
- Managing technical risks / quality
- Conducting studies and reviewing technical specifications
- Capturing and sharing knowledge about the portfolio of products.
- Supervising colleagues or assembly personnel ( 1 to 15) for installation, inspection and/or maintenance work.
- Advising on service work and (retrofit) technical solutions.
- Developing activities that expand our portfolio in the high-voltage sector.
- (Supervise) HV testing in our own workshop, on location at the customer or in an HV test laboratory (e.g. KEMA). You maintain contacts with clients, suppliers and subject specialists.
What do you need
- Are on bachelor level through education or field experience in the field of energy technology/ mechanical engineering
- proven work experience as supervisor in (international) high-voltage projects (substation, BESS systems, etc)
- relevant work experience within the high-voltage sector, preferably at a manufacturer of high-voltage equipment or network company is an advantage
- extensive knowledge of primary components and safety philosophy
- additional EHS-related training (VCA, VP etc)
- knowledge and insight into the field with regard to legislation and regulations (NEN, ISO, etc.)
- proactive, convincing and communicatively strong team player
- Fluent in English and Greman or Dutch is a plus.
