Our team is young and full with passion and motivation. The Grand highly values personal and professional growth, therefore, we have a full time trainings manager who contributes do your development. Not only during, but also after your internship, we see possibilities and career opportunities. You also have the possibility to do various cross trainings in different departments to broaden your hotel knowledge. As part of your internship experience, you'll get the opportunity to take part in an operational shift once a month, giving you valuable hands-on insight into our daily operations.

The internship allowance is €600 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week. Besides this, you also have the possibility to receive travel allowance. Every day you can enjoy a meal (for free) in our staff canteen.

Do you like to go out for dinner and drinks? Good! You get a discount up to 50% in selected restaurants and bars in 4 or 5 star hotels in Amsterdam.

A career that lets your passion shine

As a Facility Intern, you'll work closely with our Facility Manager, assisting in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our prestigious hotel, such as waste management, making schedules and motivating the team. You'll also have the chance to contribute to stewarding operations, gaining valuable insights into the behind-the-scenes workings of a luxury establishment. Another task will be ensuring the HACCP guidelines.

What you will bring to the role

• You are passionate about the luxury hotel industry
• Excellent verbal and writing skills English
• Enrolled in a Hospitality Management study
• You can work well individually, but also in a team
