budgets, forecasts and develops the objectives of the organization in financial matters. Enhances the accuracy of the company's reporting and compliance with local GAAP and IFRS

Description

• Takes care of all accounting activities of the company
• Maintains an adequate system of accounting records

Manages the preparation of the annual
and periodic forecasts

• Ensures adequate internal controls are in place to mitigate risk
• Supports the Sales and Operations teams with financial and HR information

Coordinate timely provision of information to
(internal & external)
Coordinate the preparation of the

• Coordinates payroll related information to the external payroll provider
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Responsible for all financial departmental related issues and activities
• Cash management and overall risk & compliance management
• Perform credit checks

Profile

• Analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written & oral communication skills in DUTCH and ENGLISH
• Independent, self-motivated, team player
• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
• Well organized and accurate. Structured planning approach
• Ability to drive things to completion
• Maintain high level of integrity and discretion in confidential information

Knowledge and Education:

• HBO (Accounting-) degree or equivalent combination of education and proven experience
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in an industrial environment
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems. Infor LN / Baan is preferred
• People management experience
