Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic R&D Leader to oversee our Innovation IP and People department. This leadership role requires a visionary individual who can guide our talented R&D team, manage our IP portfolio, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking products. What you’ll do: Lead and Inspire Guide and mentor a brilliant team of 6 direct reports (team will expand further) Plan resources, develop your team, and support recruitment efforts. Identify infrastructure needs and spearhead process improvements. Innovate and Create Oversee the development of DEC R&D projects. Provide technical guidance to team members. Participate in the definition and specification of new products. Manage the IP portfolio and processes. Support project leadership and act as the bridge between DEC and the larger Sonova organization. What We're Looking For: Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Microengineering. . is a plus. Experience: At least 5 years of industrial experience in innovation management and/or product develop development and leadership roles. Leadership Skills Proven ability to lead and develop teams. Strong project management skills and a knack for strategic thinking. Empowers team members and fosters continuous improvement. Personal Traits: A proactive problem-solver with a holistic view. Self-confidence, decisiveness, and a willingness to take responsibility. Great organizational and efficiency skills. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus! Why DEC?
