At Certima™, we are seeking both already qualified and new candidate food auditors to join us in the Netherlands.

• You perform impartial and professional audits of the capability of the customer to deliver safe products, up to the product specification of their client(s) and the standards' and legislative requirements, within the scope of the audits;
• You explain your findings to the customer and write an audit report which will be reviewed by Certima™;
• You learn continuously and stay informed about the latest developments regarding food standards and regularly exchange knowledge and practical experience within our team;

Qualification background criteria

Our offer is only for pre-selected candidates who qualify with the following selection criteria:

• A food-related or bioscience degree (minimum a bachelor degree or equivalent).
• Professional experience in the food industry or retail in the following roles: quality assurance, food safety, R & D, food safety auditing and / or food safety inspection or enforcement.
• Knowledge and understanding of the international food safety standards. Food safety management systems auditing and/or consultancy experience would be an advantage.
• Experience with food schemes such as BRCGS, IFS and ISO/FSSC 22000 is an advantage.

Possessed skills

• You have deep understanding of the food industry, the local food safety environment, and the categories within your scope competence;
• You possess excellent communication skills;
• You are willing to drive positive change in the food supply chain.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English.
