To further expand our market in industrial automated process solutions, Agidens is looking for a
Project Sales Manager Automation Projects
. We are seeking a technically and commercially intelligent sales colleague with a focus on
consultative selling
and
complex stakeholder management
.
As a Project Sales Manager, you will be the
face of Agidens
for existing customers, build strong networks, and seek out new opportunities in the market and with current clients.

What will you do?

  • Your main role is to identify

new technical and automation projects


in the market and maintain strong customer relationships in our core sectors:

life sciences, food & beverage, chemicals, and energy

.
  • You keep your

ears and eyes on the market

, stay informed about industry trends, identify project opportunities, and develop a

differentiated sales strategy

.
  • You

manage the entire sales cycle

, from

prospect to close

and you translate the automation needs of our process customers into engineered solutions.
  • You analyze

decision-makers and stakeholders

, prepare your case thoroughly, negotiate and achieve

sales targets

, and ensure all contractual requirements are met.
  • You stay up to date with

market developments

in industrial automation and actively engage with prospects and clients to advise them on

innovative solutions

.
  • You use

consultative selling

and

complex stakeholder management

skills to clearly communicate our added value to our clients.
  • You

develop and execute a proactive strategy

, in collaboration with the team and marketing, to generate new leads.

Who are you?

  • You are

commercially strong

, a

networker

, and capable of building long-term

trust-based relationships

.
  • You can analyze a technical issue and translate it into an automation solution.
  • You have a

technical background

(automation, process, E&I, industrial software, electromechanical…) and can

translate complex challenges into solutions

.
  • You have a

strong work ethic

and a passion for

closing deals

.
  • You have experience in

project and long-lead sales


in one of our core markets:

life sciences, food & beverage, chemicals, or energy

.
  • You have proven experience in

consultative selling, Project/Sales Pursuit Management, and Strategic Account Management

.
  • You are a

commercially intelligent salesperson

who sets goals, understands client

stakeholders and motivations

, adapts your style to their needs, and finds the best way to

close the deal

.
  • You can confidently engage in

C-level conversations

with commercial flair and passion.
  • You are an

effective communicator

in

Dutch and English

; French is a bonus.
  • You are willing to

regularly visit clients

in

Belgium and the Netherlands

.
