About the job

You must be currently studying at a Design Academy (minimum HBO), embrace messy experimentation, always start with a strong concept, have good fundamentals of the Adobe Creative Cloud.

D/ITTMAR is a design studio creating brand experiences across emerging and traditional media. We love uncomplicated solutions to define complex brands and help express what they do and why they do it.

From our studio in Rotterdam, we like to experiment and connect to our surroundings. Besides client projects, we love to spend time on initiating our own projects. Our studio fosters an international team with different perspectives, and we believe that a combination of humor, being critical and direct leads to the most effective work.

About you

What can you expect?

During your internship you will be part of our team, which means that you will be involved in various stages of the process, in existing and new assignments. In addition, we want to create space so that you can develop your own skills within a studio led project. It’s of equal importance you can play as team player as well as independently. Our communication model is direct, so understanding feedback and speaking your opinion is crucial.We want to help you strengthen your visual outcomes to bridge the space between concept and result, using effective communication to tell a story. You will learn about all about visual identities and typography through the lens of a sociocultural perspective.

Requirements

• A distinctive portfolio
• You are creative, and conceptual.
• All interns have to be officially enrolled as (art) student (University)
• Starting February, available 4 days a week for 5-6 months
• An excellent command of Adobe programs. Bonus points Sketch skills. Extra bonus points for animation skills (After Effects/Blender/Cinema 4D/etc.)
• An interest in brand identities
