Your AVenture® as a Backend Software Developer

You will develop API endpoints and links to our customers’ systems and cloud platforms of the brands we work with (LG, Samsung, BrightSign, among others). You will also work on custom scripts, apps and dashboards. You will help build systems that ensure the right content is displayed in shop windows, stores and experience centers worldwide. At First Impression you work for great brands such as Rituals, Basic-Fit, Jumbo, KPN and Efteling. We also build tools and apps that allow our technicians and service employees to work quickly and efficiently.

In this role, you listen carefully to users’ needs and translate them into working software. As a true team player, you will help colleagues conceive, create and test their code and support them with complex issues. You will have the opportunity to help improve development processes and work on innovations.

You as a person and your experience

Frankly, we don’t value a specific education or a set number of years of experience as much. What really matters to us is the added value you bring and your programming skills. Therefore, we challenge you not only to send us your CV, but also to add a piece of Python code. This way we can really appreciate your skills. Do you dare to convince us with your code?

The skillset we are looking for includes the following (or part of it):

• Python (Django framework) and (My)SQL
• REST APIs
• CI/CD tooling (GitHub)
• Cloud platforms (AWS)

We also work with tooling/software such as Jira, Grafana, Influx and Node.js.

Salary indication:

€ 3,000 – € 4,500 gross per month (for a 40-hour work week)
