What will you do?

As an Electrical Engineer in R&D, you will work on the development and optimization of advanced electrical solutions within the energy transition. You will play a crucial role in delivering electrically safe products and installations for applications such as energy storage systems, smart grid solutions, and charging infrastructure.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Translating customer-specific requirements into functional electrical solutions.
• Performing calculations and simulations on complex electrical networks and products.
• Advising on fault investigations and supporting specialized measurements.
• Actively sharing electrical knowledge within the organization through training and documentation.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a driven electrical engineering professional with a structured and results-oriented approach. Someone who is pragmatic, capable of solving technical challenges, and works effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you have:

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering) or a master's in Applied Physics.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of electrical installations and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with software tools such as MS Office and Visio.
• Knowledge of simulation and modeling software such as Matlab, PowerFactory, Vision, or ETAP.
• Availability of at least 32 hours per week.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
