Your opportunity

As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for the
full engineering cycle,
from the Concept in the FEED phase through Basic Engineering to reviewing of Detail Engineering output of subcontractors. You remain
involved during the execution phase
of these complex, dynamically loaded, heavy mechanical
Offshore Equipment and Installations.

What you will do

• Execute

Concept and Basic engineering

of Large Mechanical Equipment, such as bearing systems, chain stoppers, and offshore cranes

Check and coordinate

detail engineering input from subcontractors

• Perform

strength analysis and fatigue calculations

Act as a lead

small internal team of Mechanical Engineers and Designers

Interface

with other engineering disciplines, procurement, clients, etc.

What you already have

• BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Structural, or similar discipline

+8 years of relevant working experience

in Mechanical Engineering for offshore or Oil & Gas installations

• Excellent

strength and fatigue analysis

capabilities

• Working knowledge of Heavy Machinery, Heavy Lift Equipment, Offshore Mission Equipment, or similar

 
An analytical and solution-finding approach, since you will be the one solving engineering puzzles

• Excellent communication skills and 

fluent English

, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team, authorities, and clients worldwide

• You are willing to

travel abroad

to visit construction sites
