We are looking for candidates who can contribute to the research, teaching and public engagement of the department from a specialisation in music and media. You should have a strong profile in the field of media theory and history, European cinema, psychology of audiovisual analysis and/or complementary expertise.Wat ga je doen?As Assistant Professor in Music and Media, you will teach in the (Dutch), the (English) and/or (English).Our 3-year undergraduate programme in Musicology focuses on Western music from the Middle Ages to the present (track ‘Historical Musicology’), and on the impact of (digital) media on the production, reception and distribution of music (track ‘Music and Media’). This is relevant because we offer courses in both languages, and because we work with an international group of students and staff.
