Medior Test Engineer (32- hours)

Location: Zaandam (NL)

Working as a Test engineer

• You independently perform automated, manual and exploratory testing
• You work in a small team where your contribution makes a difference and impacts the quality of our products
• You participate in a daily stand-up meeting with the team to discuess relevant matters
• You operate in a dynamic and technizal environment
• You use tools such as JIRA, IIS, SoapUI, Postman, Testcomplete and WinSCP

 

Time allocation:

60%

Independently testing components and documenting results and findings in JIRA

15%

Reviewing and analyzing test results, adjusting and (re)testing test specifications when needed

10%

Writing and maintaining test documentation

10%

Reporting irregularities and providing recommendations on potential corrective actions
5%
Ensuring test automation

We are looking for:

• A Test Engineer with an interest in BI/Data testing
• Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking
• At least 2 years of experience as a hands-on tester in system, functional (acceptance), and end-to-end testing
• Good command of the Dutch and English language (spoken and written)
• Accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to identify and report errors to developers
• Knowledge of SQL, SOAP and REST API services, and experience with the mentioned tools
• Extensive experience using PCs and Microsoft 365

You are TMAP (Next) and/or ISTQB certified or willing to obtain this certification

• Salary: €3.500 - €5.000 , depending on your experience
• 38 days off: 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days, (but also the option to have a large part paid out if you prefer to continue working)
