Your opportunity

As
Team Lead Technical Documentation
, you will ensure the delivery of technical documentation to the customers. Those are primarily electronic technical publications (system operation and maintenance manuals), which were developed in accordance with the S1000D specification. Cooperation is a key aspect of your role, as you will closely collaborate with other departments and third parties. The Technical Documentation team is part of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) department.

What you will do

• Take charge of the creation and

administration of technical publications

, utilizing S1000D/XML/Structured methodologies

Lead

and supervise your technical

documentation team

Establish effective communication

with other departments and third parties, addressing technical documentation deliverables

• Utilize collaboration tools to monitor and

manage the workflow of documents

• Identify any obstacles or challenges and propose viable solutions to

keep the documentation process smooth

What you already have

MSc.

or BSc. in 
relevant discipline

5+ years of experience

in handling technical documentation

• Knowledge of the

ILS domain

, authoring in

XML/SGML

and

S1000D Specification

or

DITA

• Proficiency with

MS Office

and

Relational Databases

(S1000D Common Source Database (CSDB))
Willingness for
occasional
business travel and working abroad

Excellent communication skills and fluent English

 so you can communicate efficiently with your multi-cultural team

• Ability to commute to 

Schiedam

EU citizenship is a must

, due to the nature of the military projects
