Your opportunity

As the
Configuration Process Manager
, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that
complex engineering projects
run smoothly and meet strict
quality standards
. You will be the
coordinator
who brings order to the process: setting up effective
CM frameworks
, managing
change controls
, and keeping everything on track. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will
collaborate with diverse teams
,
streamline processes
, and help
drive projects to successful completion
.

What you will do

• Lead the

development, implementation, and continuous improvement

of configuration management processes to meet project goals and quality standards

• Create and manage

Configuration Management Plans

for tenders and ongoing projects, in coordination with planning and financial requirements

• Coordinate and manage change requests, making sure all

changes are properly documented and traceable

• Establish and oversee configuration management for

new projects

, collaborating with customers, partners, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth execution

• Manage the

distribution and exchange of project data

in accordance with configuration management principles

Conduct audits

on project deliverables and oversee the collection and distribution of maintenance and training documentation

• Provide

ongoing support and strategic advice

to project teams, offering solutions to configuration management challenges

Train and guide teams

on internal configuration management standards

• Contribute to

continuous improvement initiatives

, evolving processes to meet business needs

What you already have

• At least

5 years of experience managing configuration management processes

in complex engineering or project-driven settings

• Certification as a

CM-II practitioner

or expert is preferred

• Strong knowledge of

engineering principles

, particularly in industries such as shipbuilding, aerospace, or other engineering-to-order sectors

• Demonstrated ability to

lead, motivate, and coach teams

to implement best practices in configuration management

• Fluent in

English

, with proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Dutch) seen as a plus

Permanent EU citizenship and passport

are required due to project security protocols. Applicants with only a work visa or dual non-EU citizenship are ineligible
