Alco Energy Rotterdam is een samenwerkingsverband van aandeelhouders die een jarenlange ervaring hebben in de wereld van ethanol en diervoeders:

• Hoofdaandeelhouder Alcogroup is een ethanolproductie-, -distributie- en -handelsgroep, die wereldwijd actief is;
• Vanden Avenne Commodities, een familiebedrijf dat actief is in de handel, distributie en opslag van graan en derivaten.

Onze fabriek is een bio-raffinaderij in de ware zin van het woord: biomassa (graan) wordt omgezet in bio-ethanol, eiwitrijk veevoeder en groene CO
2
. En dat doen we op een bijzonder efficiënte manier waardoor we in onze sector tot de wereldtop behoren.
Onze ambitie is helder: we willen op een pro-actieve manier onze productieprocessen optimaliseren, inzetten op energie-efficiëntie en dit alles met de hoogst mogelijke aandacht voor veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu. We streven naar een werkomgeving waar wij samen met plezier werken aan het produceren en leveren van onze kwalitatief hoogwaardige en duurzame biobrandstoffen en veevoeders.

En daarbij geldt voor ons dat we in ons dagelijks werk veiligheid boven alles plaatsen, werken als een team met respect voor elkaar op een integere wijze en met ambitie en passie.

Alco Energy Rotterdam is de grootste bio-ethanolinstallatie in Europa met een jaarlijkse productiecapaciteit van meer dan 650 miljoen liter. Daarnaast produceren we jaarlijks 450 duizend ton eiwitrijk veevoeder en 300 duizend ton groene CO
