who will be contributing to our buying power and business growth in Romania
We are currently expanding our international Buying team with Junior/ Graduate Buyers who will each focus on a - part of the- buying markets of Network4Cars. Together with your more experienced colleague(s) in different countries, you will be focusing on maintaining and growing our supplier and product portfolios. You will develop and execute a sourcing strategy based on market knowledge and analysis, with the goal of securing a product (new and used cars, Light Commercial Vehicles) pipeline that is lean, sustainable, and profitable.

As a Junior/Graduate Buyer at Network4Cars, you will have the responsibility for supporting the buying team, whilst learning key purchasing fundamentals and developing your skillset. There will be a steep learning curve. You will be intensively trained by our buyers, product managers, and supply chain managers to become more senior as buyer. The ultimate goal for you will be to manage a procurement market (area) and have own personal purchasing relationships with suppliers. From the outset, you will report to the Buying Director Europe, and work closely together with an assigned more senior buyer (area manager)

The challenge

After an intensive onboarding period, your daily routine will include the following tasks:

• Reaching out to and onboarding new suppliers
• Market analysis and forecasting in collaboration with more senior buyers (area managers)
• Preparing and planning supplier meetings and negotiations
• Preparing and sending offer request to our supplier portfolio
• Setting up and analysing internal and externa data
• Assist with the day-to-day purchasing activities
• Managing outgoing purchase orders, open order books, incoming orders
• Reaching out to foreign authorities (Customs, Statistic departments, registration offices, etc.)

What kind of person are you?

A pro-active and enthusiastic team player who has an entrepreneurial, commercial, and can-do mindset. You consider yourself to be a young professional who can quickly identify opportunities. You have the ability to engage with clients, partners, and colleagues at all levels.

• You have at least a bachelor’s degree
• You are passionate or have a keen interest in cars/automotive
• You are highly analytical as you will be required to analyse volumes of data and buying figures
• You are confident and determined, a fast learner and self-starting, you like to take initiative
• You have an energetic attitude, and you are able to convince others
• You have a commercial mind; you easily make contacts, and you are a strong communicator
• You take initiative, are quality and cost conscious, with a real can-do mentality.
• You master the English language in word and writing. Any other languages are an advantage (HU, PL, CZ, PL, BG, ES, DE)
