Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview: The Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the mechanical discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the mechanical discipline. The Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer solves complex problems and uses their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the mechanical team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies. Mechanical design and analysis of an assigned scope of work in a project including specific complex deliverables with regards to HVAC Equipment. Work includes, among other things, conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations, specification development and supervising vendor packages for equipment and mechanical systems.
