Are you that proactive engineer who can handle responsibility for the electrical integration of ship systems supplied by Alewijnse and other subcontractors? In this, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team led by a project manager and technical project manager.

What are you going to do ?

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the interpretation, integration and analysis of various systems. In this role, you will discuss possible solutions with the customer and other subcontractors in order to arrive at an optimal functioning design. You will do this in consultation with the technical project manager, who is ultimately responsible for the technical design.

What you will do:

• Prepare system requirements specifications and interface design documents;
• Discuss and agree interfaces with other subcontractors;
• Determine materials to be used and set up production documentation package;
• Monitoring and reporting progress according to project schedule.

Who are you ?

You are a Hardware engineer with who oversees the big picture. You enjoy working as part of a project team in your own area of expertise and take a proactive approach.

What you need:

• HBO degree in electrical engineering;
• Have several years of experience as a Hardware Engineer;
• Knowledge of marine systems;
• A great organiser.
