The Challenge

Picturae has been digitizing Natural Heritage / Biodiversity collections for the past 12,5 years (and Cultural Heritage for 25+) on the highest level. We are a global market leader in Biodiversity digitization with our Herbarium Conveyor and Entomology Conveyor. We aim to remain a true partner to the Natural Heritage sector. We drive end-to-end mass-digitization projects, for which a sales cycle of 5+ years is not uncommon.

What You’ll Do

As a
Client Relation Manager
, you’ll be the key point of contact for our Relations in Europe, South-East Asia & Pacific, ensuring their digitization needs are met with our cutting-edge solutions. Your primary goal is to build & foster strong relationships. This is a commercial position, in the end you’ll be responsible for driving business growth and the ‘branding’ of our solutions and services for this sector in your area. You will contribute to preserving rich natural heritage, which ultimately enables researchers across the globe analyze biodiversity data.

Build Connections

• Develop and nurture relationships with institutions in the

natural history

and

biodiversity

sectors (mainly Natural History Museums & Universities).

• Actively engage in

lead generation

through direct outreach, social media, and industry conferences.

• Help your connections navigate the road towards a mass-digitization project.
• Foster repeat business and encourage referrals.

Drive Growth

• Secure new clients and projects across Europe, South-East Asia & Pacific.
• Translate client needs into compelling proposals and project workflows.
• Collaborate with our Operations Team and technical experts to deliver customized solutions.
• Collaborate with our Communications Advisor to build content and share our experience.

Report and Strategize

• Track progress using our CRM system.
• Work closely with the international team to set sales targets and revenue projections.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree

in Arts, Science, or a related field.

• Experience in the (cultural or natural)

heritage

sector

or having an existing network is a plus.

• A knack for

commercial success

(experience in lead generation, tenders, and meeting KPIs is a plus)

• Strong

communication

and

interpersonal skills

.

• Ability to collaborate with teams across different countries and cultures.
• Willingness to travel internationally and attend occasional evening or weekend events.
