Security Engineer Cyber Security Switzerland

Security Engineer - Switzerland - 1+ year contract

Bern, Switzerland (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, more remote possible over time)
Next Ventures is partnered with an IT Service Provider who is supporting a large cyber defence program for a Swiss military end client.
The end client is developing a New Defense Platform (NDP) and is expanding its team with a Security Engineer. This role is crucial in integrating key software into the platform to ensure security, functionality, and seamless operation.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the NDP system, security requirements, and specialist applications for software integration.
Plan, install, configure, and parameterize software to integrate it into the NDP.
Ensure client and specialist applications are fully operational.
Maintain documentation in Confluence, Jira, and ICT management systems.
Support the EasyPSIM integration process.

Requirements:

Swiss nationality or 5+ years residency in Switzerland (must-have).
Strong IT skills with deep experience in software integration (installation, configuration, parameterization).
Experience with security-focused IT environments is a plus.
