Would you like to work in the Innovation Centre of a large financial organization? Research, experiment and learn about the newest technologies in the world of IT? Do you have experience developing both on the Front End and the Back End? Then keep reading!

As a Full Stack Developer you are constantly looking for promising technologies and test their maturity and applicability by conducting experiments. You will support the various innovation teams in finding innovative technical solutions for the future products, services and partnerships. You will also educate and coach your colleagues - (junior and medior) Developers by sharing your technical programming knowledge and competencies with them.

The tasks consist of;
  • Researching, experimenting and learning about the newest technologies in the world of IT;
  • Analyze trends in the market and the needs of the business;
  • Translate your findings into a design and further develop & test this into a new product / service;
  • Making Proof of Concepts;
  • Presenting and discussing the demo with stakeholders for further development;
  • Using the following tech stack: Java, Python, NodeJS, Vue.JS, Github, Gitlab, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, MongoDB & MySQL.

Functie-eisen

  • You have at least a Bachelor or Master degree;
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with both Front End and Back End development;• You are motivated to stay up to date on various areas of expertise within IT. You drive the search for, keeping up to date with and promotion of (future) disruptive technological trends;
  • You excel at transforming your (teams) work into tangible and persuasive results which you easily present to and collaborate on with a wide range of (internal) stakeholders;
  • You enthusiastically support the team in their technological development.

Bedrijfsomschrijving

For our client in Amsterdam we are searching for a Full Stack Developer who will be working in the Innovation Centre of a large financial organization. This international organization has more than 20.000 employees and has millions of private and corporate clients and is respected as one of the most innovative organizations in their industry. They work fully agile/scrum and have already started with the transition to the DevOps way of working. It is important that you also believe this way or working is the way to go!

As Full Stack Developer in the Innovation Centre, you will be exploring new technological developments and experiment with them, to actively contribute to the most promising propositions and business models. At the moment those experiments include the topics: IoT, Robotics and Quantum Technology.
